The devaluing of a 4-year college degree as a job qualification requirement for many jobs has been on the horizon for a while and my guess is will pick up speed now. If one pursues college for self-edification and growth, fantastic. Or if college is really the only path to a certain career, such as being a doctor, it's the way to go. But for so many jobs and careers a degree is not necessary.
